Concrete + Wax Story:

'There is a lovely lockdown story behind this coaster design as our 6 year old asked one day if she could help Daddy with pouring concrete rather than doing maths. The brief was to do it like Jackson Pollock and the result was a triumph (albeit a messy one).'

Now, these have not been made by said 6 year old, but Mr Concrete is happy to admit that he took inspiration from her original splatter creations when making these.

The surface is smooth and feels truly luxurious to the touch, every coaster is completely unique and the coasters are made to endure.

Each sits on a protective cork base.

Each of these coasters has been protected with a hard wearing surface coating to deter from marks and stains and each coaster can be wiped clean using a soft damp cloth. However, certain liquids (most notably red wine) may leave a permanent mark if left on the coaster surface for a prolonged period of time, especially on the lighter colours of concrete.
